The Forth Brig is a cantilever railwey brig ower the Firth o Forth in the east o Scotland, 9 miles (14 kilometres) wast o central Edinburgh. It wis opened on 4 Mairch 1890 an spans a tot lenth o 8,296 feet (2,528.7 m). It is whiles referred tae as the Forth Rail Brig tae distinguish it frae the Forth Road Brig, tho this haes never been an offeecial title.
