Dalmeny (Scots Gaelic: Dail Mheinidh) is a rural veelage an ceevil parish in Scotland. It is locatit on the sooth side o the Firth o Forth, 1 mile (1.6 km) east-sootheast o Sooth Queensferry an 8.3 mile (13.4 km) wast-northwast o central Edinburgh.[1] It is pairt o the tradeetional region o Lowden, an faws unner the local govrenance o the Ceety o Edinburgh Cooncil.[2]
