Cruces (Spainish pronunciation: [ˈkɾuses]) is a municipality an toun in Cienfuegos Province, Cuba. It is the hame o the Mal Tiempo Naitional Pairk which commemorates a battle in the 1895 War o Unthirldom.
The toun wis foondit in 1852 in a place kent as Sabana de Ibarra.[1] The railwey reaches the toun in 1855.
The municipality is dividit intae the barrios o Estrada Palma, Mal Tiempo, Marta an Monte Cristo. Thare wur 5 succar mills in the vicinity o Cruces, bi its traditional names: San Francisco, Andreita, Santa Catalina, Caracas an Hormiguero.[1]
