Clachanmore is a veelage in the Rhins o Gallowa near Ardwell in the historical coonty o Wigtounshire in Dumfries an Gallowa, Scotland. It his been kent an aw as Law Ardwell.[1]

The name o the veelage means 'muckle clachan' (Scots Gaelic: Clachan Mòr) an micht derive fae a stane circle that umwhile stuid there.[2] There is the remeens o a circular pen on Barrack Knowe near Heich Clachanmore fermhoose.[3]
