Chur (pronounced [ˈkuːr] (in Graubünden), [ˈxuːʁ] (elsewhere); Alemannic German: Khûr; Romansh: Cuira [ˈkwera] or [ˈkwojra]; Italian: Coira [ˈkɔjra]); French: Coire; Laitin: Curia, Curia Rhaetorum an Curia Raetorum) is the caipital o the Swiss canton o Graubünden an lies in the northren pairt o the canton.

The name "chur" derives perhaps frae the Celtic kora or koria, meanin "tribe", or frae the Laitin curia.
