Buckhyne is a sma toon near Methul in Scotland. Fur twa hunner years it wis the lairgest fishing toon in the yird, but wis owerteuk bi Oban in the 50s. It has a heich schuil cried "Levenmooth Acaedemy" that mellt "Kirchland" and "Buckhyne" heich schuils. As of 2001 it has 16,391 people. Probably around 16,240 including Methul as i'2006.

Fishing Toon (19th century)

As o 1831 Buckhyne wis the seicont lairgest fishing toon in Scotland wi a reported 198 boats. By the 1860s it became maer o i' fishing.
