Az Zawiyah (Arabic: شعبية الزاوية‎ Az Zāwiya) is ane o the destricts o Libie. It is locatit in the northwastren pairt o the kintra, in wha haed been the historical region o Tripolitanie.

Its caipital is Az Zawiyah. Syne the 2007 reorganization o Libian destricts, the umwhile destrict o Sabratha Wa Surman haes been pairt o Az Zawiyah Destrict.^[3]

In the north, Az Zawiyah haes a shoreline borderin the Mediterranean Sea. On land, it borders the follaein destricts:

Tarabulus - east
Al Jfara - sootheast
Al Jabal al Gharbi - sooth
An Nuqat al Khams - wast
