Golestan Province (Persian: استان گلستان, Ostān-e Golestān ) is ane o the 31 provinces o Iran, locatit in the north-east o the kintra, sooth o the Caspian Sea. Its caipital is Gorgan.

The major tounships o the province are: Gorgan, Gonbad Kavoos, Bandar Torkaman, Bandar Gaz, Aliabad-e katul, Kord Kooy, Fenderesk an Minoo Dasht. Present-day Gorgan wis cried Esteraba or Astarabad till 1937.
