Lorestan Province

Lorestan Province (Persian: استان لرستان, Ostān-e Lorestān ) is a historic territory an province o wastren Iran, amidst the Zagros Muntains. The population o Lorestan wis estimatit at 1,716,527 fowk in 2006.[1]
Lorestan covers an aurie o 28,392 km². The major ceeties in this province are: Khorramabad, Borujerd, Aligoodarz, Dorood, Koohdasht, Azna, Alashtar, Noor Abad, an Pol-e-Dokhtar.
