The three destricts o Luxembourg are the top-level admeenistrative diveesions o the Grand Duchy o Luxembourg. The destricts are further subdividit intae cantons:

  2. Grevenmacher Destrict
  3. Luxembourg Destrict

The cantons wur creatit on 24 Februar 1843.[1] In 1857, Mersch Destrict wis creatit frae the cantons o Mersch an Redange.[2] Housomeivver, this fowert destrict wis abolished in 1867, when the re-arrangements o ten years previously wur undone.[3]
