Velociraptor (/vᵻˈlɒsᵻræptər/; meanin "swift seizer")^[1] is a genus o dromaeosaurid theropod dinosaur. Twa species are currently recognized, altho ithers hae been assigned in the past. The type species is V. mongoliensis; fossils o this species hae been discovered in Mongolie. A seicont species, V. osmolskae, wis named in 2008 for skull material frae Inner Mongolie, Cheenae.
