Hi there (sorry 'bout my using English). I noticed you're making a lot of lists of things. You might instead try using categories; see meta:Help:Category for information and examples. --Saforrest 00:13, 14 Julie 2005 (UTC)[replie]

These were copied from the English language edition of Wikipedia. In these instances, I'm not sure that categories would put things in an appropriate order (the category page is listed in alphabetical order) while things like dates go in a specific order. However, you are right that many things are easier and can appropriately be put in categories. --Colin Angus Mackay 06:33, 14 Julie 2005 (UTC)[replie]
You can specify the name by which something should be sorted in a category with the | sign. For example, say you had a category for dates, and you wanted them sorted in calendar order. In the entry for 23 Juin put [[Category:Days|06-23]], and it'll appear in the appropriate place, between 22 Juin and 24 Juin, and well before 23 Julie.
For something like a list of kings or prime ministers or what have you, it's likely best to use lists as you're doing, though. --Saforrest 03:00, 18 Julie 2005 (UTC)[replie]
