Tijarafe is a toun an a municipality on the island o La Palma, Province o Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. It is situatit in the northwastren pairt o the island. The population of the municipality is 2,776 (2013)[2] an the aurie is 53.76 km².[1] Tijarafe is 7 km northwast o Los Llanos de Aridane an 19 km wast o the island caipital Santa Cruz de La Palma.

The eastren border o the municipality is shapit bi the crater rim o the Caldera de Taburiente an its ootflow, the Barranco de las Angustias.

Tijarafe wis the name o ane o the twal auld auries whaur the Guanches uised tae settle afore the Spainyie conquest. It correspondit wi the present municipalities Tijarafe an Puntagorda.
