The Glenkens, (Scottish Gaelic: An Gleann Cain) is locatit midwey alang the wastren section o the Southern Upland Wey in the historic coounty o Kirkcoubrieshire in Gallowa, Scotland. [1]The Glenkens is made up o the parishes o Carsphairn, St John's Toun o Dalry, Kells, Parton an Balmaclellan. The name comes fae the Watter o Ken that rins throu the glen afore flowing intae the Watter o Dee an syne doun til the sea.
