Sigtuna Municipality (Sigtuna kommun) is a municipality in Stockholm Coonty in east central Swaden. Its seat is locatit in the toun o Märsta.
The municipality is a pairt o Metropolitan Stockholm.
The municipality consists o a lot o umwhile local govrenment units an wis formit in 1971. It got its name frae the sma, but vera auld, Ceety o Sigtuna, but the seat wis placit in the much larger modern town of Märsta.
The three touns o the municipality are Märsta (pop. 23,000), Sigtuna (pop. 8,000) an Rosersberg (pop. 1,400), o which Märsta is the municipal seat an Sigtuna wi its auld an important history is a popular tourist destination.
