Municipalities o Quintana Roo
The Mexican state o Quintana Roo is made up o 11 municipalities (municipios): Tulum an Bacalar are the newest municipalities.[1] The state wis creatit frae the Quintana Roo Territory in 1974 wi seiven municipios. Solidaridad wis formit in 1993 bi act o the Congress o Quintana Roo. Tulum wis split aff frae Solidaridad in Mairch 2008.[2] Bacalar wis split aff frae Othón P. Blanco in Februar 2011.[1] While the population figures belaw are frae 2010,[3] they hae been adjustit for the creation o the municipality o Bacalar in 2011.
