Kitee (Swadish: Kides) is a toun an a municipality o Finland.
It is locatit in the province o Eastren Finland an is pairt o the North Karelie region. The municipality haes a population o 9,730 (28 Februar 2023)[2] an covers an aurie o 1,724.41 square kilometre (665.80 sq mi) o which 275.61 km2 (106.41 sq mi) is watter.[1] The population densitie is 11.24 inhabitants per square kilometre (29.1/sq mi).
The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
