The mayor o the José Rafael Revenga Municipality is Francisco Martínez, electit on 23 November 2008 wi 60% o the vote.[5] He replacit Juan Pablo Perdomo Piñero shortly efter the elections. The municipality is dividit intae ane pairish; Capital José Rafael Revenga.[2]
