Jazan (Arabic: جازان Jazan) is the smawest province o Saudi Arabie. It stretches some 300 km alang the soothren Reid Sea coast, juist north o Yemen. It covers an aurie o 11,671 km² an a population o 1,365,110 at the 2010 census (prelimiary result). The caipital is the ceety o Jazan; Muhammad bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz is the current govrenor.

The province includes ower 100 islands in the Reid Sea. The Farasan Islands, Saudi Arabie's first protectit aurie, are hame tae the endangered Arabie gazelle an, in winter, migratory birds frae Europe.

Though the climate on the heichlands is similar tae the relatively wetter climate o 'Asir, the coastal regions o Jazan province are pairt o Tihamah, probably the hottest place in the warld, wi mean maximum temperaturs rangin frae 40 °C (104 °F) in Julie tae 31 °C (88 °F) in Januar. Heich humidity frae coastal lagoons maks the climate even less bearable than it wad be itherwise. Rainfaw is extremely law at less nor 75 millimetres (3 inches) per year. Sabya is locatit in the center atween the muntain an the beach.
