Gudauta Destrict is a destrict o Abkhazie, Georgie’s breakawa republic. It corresponds tae the eponymous Georgie destrict. Its caipital is Gudauta, the toun bi the same name. The population o the destrict is 34,869 accordin tae the 2003 census, doun frae 57,334 in 1989.[1]

On 16 Juin 2003, Preses Ardzinba assentit tae Lev Shamba's request for dismissal an replacit him wi First Deputy Meenister for Eddication Beslan Dbar.[2]
On 29 Mairch 2005, newly electit Preses Sergei Bagapsh replacit Beslan Dbar as the Heid o Gudauta's Admeenistration bi Daur Vozba.[3] Durin the Februar 2011 assembly elections, Daur Vozba failed tae be re-electit bi a margin o 92 votes.[4] Sergei Bagapsh appointit Valerii Malia as his successor on 23 Februar.[5] On 17 Februar, durin its first session, the new Gudauta Destrict assembly electit Roman Bazba its chairman, wi 22 oot o 29 votes, an Fyodor Sakania its Deputy Chairman.[6]
On 1 November 2011, Abkhazia's Prosecutor General annooncit that he haed initiatit creeminal proceedins against umwhile Admeenistration Head Daur Vozba, for abuiss o pouer. Vozba is alleged tae hae signed a decree on 11 August 2006, haundin ower twa maist valuable plots o coastal land tae twa individuals, which wad hae required authorisation bi the Cabinet o Meenisters.[7]
