Deir ez-Zor Govrenorate (Arabic: مُحافظة دير الزور‎) is ane o the fowerteen govrenorates o Sirie. It is situatit in eastren Sirie, borderin Iraq. It haes an aurie o 33,060 km² ^[1] an a population o 1,094,000 (2007 estimate). The caipital is Deir ez-Zor.
