Cojedes (Spaingie pronunciation: [koˈxeðes]) is a toun in the Venezuelan state o Cojedes. This toun is the shire toun o the Anzoátegui Municipality an, accordin tae the 2001 Venezuelan census, the municipality haes a population o 14,044.[1]

Cojedes is the shire toun o the Anzoátegui Municipality in Cojedes. The mayor o the Anzoátegui Municipality is Luis Linares, reelectit in 2004 wi 44% o the vote.[2] The last municipal election wis held in October 2004.
