The coat o airms o Slovakie is makkit up o a reid (gules) shield, in aerlie gothic style, chairged wi a silver (argent) double cross staundin on the middle peak o a daurk blue muntain that haes three peaks. Extremities o the cross are amplificatit, an its ends are concavit.

This symbol represents the Slovak kintra an history. The double cross is a symbol o its Christian faith an the hills represent three symbolic muntain ranges: Tatra, Fatra an Mátra (the last ane is in northren Hungary)
