Chancellor Johnathan Bennett (born Aprile 16, 1993), kent professionally as Chance the Rapper, is an American rapper, sangster, sangwriter, actor, an record producer frae the Wast Chatham neighbourhuid o Chicago, Illinois.[3] In 2013, he began tae gain recogneetion follaein the release o his seicont mixtape, Acid Rap.[4] Apairt frae his solo career, he is an aa a member o the Chicago collective Save Money (alang wi frequent collaborator Vic Mensa), an haes wirked as the lead vocalist for the baund The Social Experiment. Thay released the widely laudit album Surf in Mey 2015.

In Mey 2016, Bennett released the mixtape Coloring Book tae further creetical acclaim. This is Bennett's third mixtape, which haes received three Grammy awairds, includin Best Rap Album. Coloring Book wis the first streamin-anly album tae ever receive a Grammy nomination.[5]
