Executive power is exercised by the Regional Government. Legislative power is vested in both the government and the Regional Council.
The Regional Council of Campanie (Consiglio Regionale della Campania) is componed o 60 members, o whilk 47 is elected in provincial constituencies wi proportional representation, 12 frae the sae-cawed "regional elite" o the electit President an the last ane is for the candidate for President wha comes seicont wha uisually becomes the leader o the opposition in the Council.
