Ascain (Basque Azkaine) is a veelage in the tradeetional Basque province o Labourd, nou a commune in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques depairtment in soothwastren Fraunce. It is locatit 7 km (4.3 mi) tae the east o Saint-Jean-de-Luz an the Atlantic Ocean, in the wastren fuithills o the Pyrenees.
