Aiberdeen Maritime Museum is a maritime museum in Aiberdeen, Scotland.
The museum is seetuait on the historic Shiprow in the hert o the ceety, near the harbour.[1] It uises a reenge o biggins includin the auld Trinity Congregational Kirk, thit wis convertit tae pairt the museum,[2] an Provost Ross' House, een o the auldest domestic biggins in the ceety.[3]
The museum tells the story o the ceety's lang relationship wi the North Sea. Its collections kivver shipbiggin, fast sailin ships, fishin an port history, an on the Nor Sea ile industry.[2]

In 1702 Provost John Ross o Arnage, a ship awner, haed taen it as his residence. In the 19t yearhunner, the biggin turnt intae a set o tenements an became derelict bi 1950. In 1984, the biggin wis boucht bi the National Trust for Scotland thit leased it tae the Aiberdeen Ceety Cooncil. The biggin wis than turnt intae the Aiberdeen Maritime Museum.[4]
A few year efter buyin the biggin, the cooncil boucht the Trinity Congregational Kirk, howpin tae hae it be an extension tae the museum. It appent in 1997.[5]
