Aalen (German pronunciation: [ˈaːlən]) is a ceety in the German state o Baden-Württemberg, aboot 70 kilometre (43 mi) east o Stuttgart an 48 kilometre (30 mi)[2] north o Ulm. It is the seat o the Ostalbkreis destrict, an its lairgest ceety, as well as the lairgest ceety athin the Ostwürttemberg region.
