Zugdidi (Georgie: ზუგდიდი; Template:Lang-xmf, literally "big hill") is a ceety in the Wastren Georgie historical province o Samegrelo (Mingrelia). It is situatit in the north-wast o that province. The ceety is locatit 318 kilometres west of Tbilisi, 30 km. frae Black sea coast an 30 km. frae Egrisi range. 100–110 metres abuin sea level. As o 2007, it haed a population o 75,900. The ceety is the caipital o the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region which combines Samegrelo (Mingrelia) and Svaneti.
