Posyet

Posyet (Roushie: Посьет, an aa Possiette an Possiet) is an ice-free port an urban-type settlement (syne 1943) on the Possiet Bay, in Khasansky Destrict, Primorsky Krai, Roushie. It is named efter the Roushie navigator Konstantin Posyet (1819—1899). Population: 3,000 (2002 Census). It is ane o the soothrenmaist settlements in Roushie.

Established on Aprile 11, 1860 as Novgorodskiy-Posyet. The first name Novgorodskiy wis given efter the bay named bi Muravyov-Amursky expedition, the latter name Posyet wis named efter Roushie explorer Konstantin Posyet. It's the auldest settlement in Primorsky Krai.

Lairgest enterprise JSC Commercial port o Posyet is awned bi Mechel. It's in possession o three moorin lines o 'gravitational' type 450m in length.
