Mogilev (an aa spelled Mahilyow, an aa transliterated Mahiloŭ, Mogilyov; Belaroushie: Магілёў, pronounced [maɣʲiˈlʲou̯]; Roushie: Могилёв, [məɡʲɪˈlʲof]) is a ceety in eastren Belaroushie, aboot 76 km frae the border wi Roushie's Smolensk Oblast an 105 km frae the border wi Roushie's Bryansk Oblast. It haes mair than 367,788 inhabitants (2007 estimate).[1] It is the centre o Mahilyow Region an the third lairgest ceety in Belarus.
