Grozny (Roushie: Гро́зный; Template:Lang-ce, Sölƶa-Gala, or Жовхар, Ƶovxar) is the caipital ceety o the Chechnie, Roushie. The ceety lees on the Sunzha River. Accordin tae the preliminary results o the 2010 Census, the ceety haed a population of 271,596;[3] up frae 210,720 recordit in the 2002 Census.[4] but still anerlie aboot twa-thirds of 399,688 recordit in the 1989 Census.[6]
