Achkhoy-Martanovsky Destrict (Roushie: Ачхо́й-Марта́новский райо́н; Chechen: Тӏеьха-Мартан кӏошт, Theẋa-Martan khoşt) is an admeenistrative[1] an municipal[2] destrict (raion), ane o the fifteen in Chechnie, Roushie. It is locatit in the wast o the republic. The aurie o the destrict is 1,100 square kilometers (420 sq mi). Its admeenistrative centre is the rural locality (a selo) o Achkhoy-Martan.[1] Population: 78,505 (2010 Census preliminary results);[3] 64,839 (2002 Census);[6] 59,837 (1989 Census).[7] The population o Achkhoy-Martan accoonts for 25.7% o the destrict's total population.[3]
