Al Marj (Arabic: المرج Al Marǧ, Inglis: The Meadows) is an admeenistrative diveesion (shabiyah or destrict) o northeastren Libie, lyin on the Mediterranean Sea coast. Its admeenistrative seat is the ceety o Al Marj, which wis umwhile kent as Barca. Al Marj is situatit on the Cyrenaica Plateau at the wastren edge o the Jebel Akhdar. In the 2007 admeenistrative reorganization pairt o the territory umwhile in Al Hizam al Akhdar Destrict wis transferred tae Al Marj.
In the north, Al Marj haes a shoreline on the Mediterranean Sea.
