Valle de Allende is the municipal seat an lairgest toun o the municipality o Allende in the Mexican state o Chihuahua. Oreeginally namit Valle de San Bartolomé, it wis foondit in 1569 bi Franciscan monks. The toun is ane o the auldest in Chihuahua.
The toun receivit its current name in 1825 in honor o Ignacio Allende, a military leader durin the Mexican War o Unthirldom.
