The Tammerkoski is a river and rapids located in the ceety center o Tampere in Pirkanmaa, Finland. Flowing thro the center, the river linkin twa lochs, Näsijärvi an Pyhäjärvi. It haes been an important pouer soorce throughoot heestory, maist recently for generatin electricity.

The Tammerkoski haes bin mentioned in official documents sin 1405,[1] 374 years afore King Gustav III o Swaden founded the ceety o Tampere alang it.[2]
