Sverdlovsky Ceety Destrict (Roushie: Свердло́вский райо́н) is ane o the seiven ceety destricts o the ceety o Perm in Perm Krai, Roushie, locatit in the Kama River's left bank. Population: 210,477 (2010 Census preliminary results);[1] 215,487 (2002 Census);[2] 236,681 (1989 Census).[3] It is the maist populous destrict o Perm.[1]

Etymologie[eedit | eedit soorce]

It is namit for Yakov Sverdlov, who led the pairty organisations in the Urals durin the revolution o 1905-1907.

The destrict wis establisht on 27 Mey 1936 as Stalinsky (Ста́линский).
