Shuji Nakamura (中村 修二 Nakamura Shūji, born May 22, 1954) is a Japanese-born American pheesicist an inventor specialising in the field o semiconductor technology, professor at the Materials Depairtment o the College o Ingineerin, Varsity o Californie, Santa Barbara (UCSB),[5] an is regardit as the inventor o the blue LED, a major breakthrough in lichtin technology.[6]
