The rosids are members o a muckle clade o flouerin plants, containin aboot 70,000 species,[1] mair nor a quarter o aw angiosperms.[2] The clade is dividit intae 16 tae 20 orders, dependin upon circumscription an classification. These orders, in turn, thegither comprise aboot 140 faimilies.[3] The rosids an the asterids are bi far the mucklest clades in the eudicots.
