The station appent circa 1904 as shawn on Ordnance Survey maps.[1] The station closed in 1942,[2] awtho the line throu the station is aye appen. The station's site haes been wrackit bi a brig on the main A75 road. The hooses nearby are named the 'Railway Cottages'.
