Planina v Podbočju (pronounced [plaˈniːna ʍ pɔdˈboːtʃju]) is a remote smaw veelage in the Gorjanci Hills in the Municipality o Krško in eastren Slovenie, richt on the border wi Croatie. The aurie wis tradeetionally pairt o Lawer Carniola. It is nou includit in the Lawer Sava Statistical Region.[2]

Atween 14 an 15 September 1942, durin the Seicont Warld War, the veelage wis burned tae the grund an 34 male veelagers wur executit in the nearbi forest bi the Ustaše. Thare is a monument wi a leet o names o the deid in the veelage. It is a stane block wi a statue o a Pairtisan on tap, unveiled in 1953.[4]
