One World Trade Center (an aa kent as 1 World Trade Center, 1 WTC or Freedom Tower[15]) is the main biggin o the rebiggit World Trade Center complex in Lswer Manhattan, New York Ceety. It is the tawest biggin in the Wastren Hemisphere, an the saxt-tawest in the warld. The supertaw structur haes the same name as the North Tower o the oreeginal World Trade Center, which wis completely destroyed in the terrorist attacks o September 11, 2001. The new skyscraper staunds on the northwast corner o the 16-acre (6.5 ha) World Trade Center steid, on the steid o the oreeginal 6 World Trade Center.
