The olinguito (/ˌoʊlɪŋˈɡiːtoʊ/ oh-lihn-GEE-toe;[1] / IPA [ˌoʊlɪŋˈɡiːtoʊ]; Bassaricyon neblina), which is Spainyie for "little olingo", is a mammal o the genus Bassaricyon in the faimily Procyonidae (the raccoon faimily). Its discovery was announced on 15 August 2013.[2][3]
