Nancy Conn wis born Agnes Kirkland Conn on the 27th June 1919 in Baurhead, Scotland tae James Charles Conn an Margaret Aitken.[3][4] Her faither wis a Church o Scotland minister, that wis translate tae Broughty Ferry in 1926, sae Nancy gaed tae High School of Dundee. She gaed tae the Varsity o St Andras an got an MA in Modren History an English in 1940[5], an graduate M.B.,Ch.B frae the Bute Medical School i 1945[6].

She wirkit at the Central Microbiological Laboratories at Edinburgh's Wastren General Hospital until December 1972. Eftir, she wis a consultant an the Depute Director o the Westren Regional Hospital Board in Glesgae[7]. She retired i 1979. She wis ae Soroptimist an ae member o the National Trust for Scotland[8]. She dee'd in her sleep aged 93 on 20th March 2013[9].
