Kaunissaare is a veelage in Anija Pairish, Harju Coonty in northren Estonie. It's located sooth o the toun o Kehra, efter Lehtmetsa. The dounset is situatit aroond the Kaunissaare Reservoir on the Jägala River. The reservoir is pairt o the Tallinn watter supply seestem an is connectit via canals tae Pirita River, Aavoja an Soodla River. The node wis opened in 1984.[1]
Kaunissaare haes a population o 90 as o 1 Januar 2010.[2]
