Järva Coonty (Estonie: Järva maakond), or Järvamaa (German: Jerwen, Laitin: Jervia), is ane o 15 counties o Estonie. The coonty wis componit o several pairishes, heidit bi an elder an aw. Bi the 13t century the follaein major destricts haed developed in Estonie: Saaremaa (Osilia), Läänemaa (Rotalia or Maritima), Harjumaa (Harria), Rävala (Revalia), Virumaa (Vironia), Järvamaa (Jervia), Sakala (Saccala), an Ugandi (Ugaunia).[2]
Coonty Govrenment
[eedit | eedit soorce]The Coonty Govrenment (Estonie: Maavalitsus) is led bi Governor (Estonian: maavanem), who is appointit bi the Govrenment o Estonie for a term o five years. Syne 2009, the Govrenor position is held bi Tiina Oraste.
