It is locatit in the northeast o the oblast. The aurie o the destrict is 2,000 square kilometer (770 sq mi). Its admeenistrative centre is the landwart locality (a selo) o Ivanteyevka.[2] Population: 15,186 (2010 Census);[5] 16,151 (2002 Census);[8] 15,972 (1989 Census).[9] The population o Ivanteyevka accoonts for 40.2% o the destrict's total population.[5]
