Iquique (Spaingie pronunciation: [iˈkike]) is a port ceety an commune in northren Chile, caipital o baith the Iquique Province an Tarapacá Region. It lies on the Paceefic coast, wast o the Atacama Desert an the Pampa del Tamarugal. It haed a population o 216,419 as o the 2002 census.^[2] It is an aa the main commune o the Greater Iquique.
