The Girardot Municipality is ane o the nine municipalities (municipios) that mak up the Venezuelan state o Cojedes an, accordin tae the 2011 census bi the Naitional Institute o Statistics o Venezuela, the municipality haes a population o 11,906.[1] The town of El Baúl is the shire toun o the Girardot Municipality.[2]

This amunts tae 3.8% of the state's population.[3] The municipality's population density is 3.34 inhabitants per square kilometre (8.7/sq mi).[4]
Govrenment
[eedit | edit soorce]The mayor o the Girardot Municipality is Gustavo Ramón Guillén Brizuela, re-electit on 31 October 2004 wi 30% o the vote.[5][6] The municipality is dividit intae twa pairishes; El Baúl an Sucre.[2]
