David L. Reece is an American vocalist best kent for his time wi Accept an contreibution tae thair 1989 album Eat the Heat.

Reece grew up in Oklahoma,[1] makin his recording debut wi Dare Force in 1989. He an aa recorded vocals for a demo for Sacred Child. He wis replaced bi Astrid Young afore thair album recording, but the demos war included on a re-release o thair debut.[2]

Wi Accept

Efter mony auditions, Reece wis chosen tae be the new Accept sangster for Eat the Heat. He an the rest o the baund produced a different soondin album than those o early Accept albums. The tour wis cancelled an he wis fired as the sangster.

Efter Accept

Efter bein sacked frae Accept, he formed Bangalore Choir an released an album wi them. The band included members o Hericane Alice - a band for which Reece haed declined tae record demo vocals earlier due tae his involvement wi Lillian X - a partnership which never resulted in ony recorded material.[3] The follaein years he released twa albums wi Sircle of Silence wi Larry Farkas frae Vengeance Rising, Jay Schellen frae Hurricane an Greg Chaisson, formerly o Badlands.[4] He then released an album wi American band Stream.[5]

In 2007, Reece jynt Swedish band Gypsy Rose, releasing an album wi them the follaein year.[6]

Reece released his first solo album on August 28, 2009. His band consists o Andy Susemihl (ex-U.D.O.), Stefan Schwarzmann (formerly wi U.D.O., currently an aa wi Accept) an Jochen Fünders (ex-Holy Moses).
